Analysis of Translation Method in Translating The Indonesian Bible to Kupang Malay Language

Abstract

This paper discussed the methods used in translating the Bible from Bahasa Indonesia to Kupang Malay Language. Instead of discussing all methods found, the current paper only focused on the discussion of the prominent method. Using a descriptive qualitative method, it is found that borrowing technique has been the prominent technique in Bible translation from Bahasa Indonesia to Kupang Malay Language.
