This study explores the theological understanding of the call to full-time ministry and its implications for commitment among Bible school students in Indonesia, with Galatians 1:11–24 serving as the biblical foundation. The research seeks to examine how future ministers perceive their vocational calling and the extent to which this perception influences their willingness to dedicate themselves to lifelong servanthood. Employing a qualitative case study approach, data were collected through structured interviews, focus group discussions, and document analysis at a Bible school in Kupang, Indonesia. The findings reveal that students’ interpretation of Paul’s testimony in Galatians significantly shapes their perspective on ministry as a divine rather than a humanly initiated calling. This theological insight strengthens their sense of identity as servants of Christ and fosters resilience in committing to ministry despite personal or social challenges. However, the study also identifies tensions between ideal commitment and practical realities, particularly regarding economic pressures and cultural expectations. The research contributes to theological education by highlighting the importance of biblical foundations in shaping ministerial identity and commitment. It further suggests that integrating contextual realities with scriptural insights is essential for preparing future Christian leaders in Indonesia and beyond.
