Abstract

Islamic Commercial Bank is one type of bank that operates in Indonesia by carrying out its business activities based on sharia principles. Since its first establishment in 1992, the growth of Islamic commercial banks has been relatively lagging behind conventional commercial banks, even though the majority of Indonesian people are Muslim. It is interesting to note how asset growth, which is generally used as a measure of company performance, including in this case Islamic commercial banks, is influenced by internal factors. In this study, it will be examined how the influence of factors, namely core capital, capital expenditure, number of office networks, labor costs and education fund expenditures (independent variables) affect the growth of Islamic commercial bank assets (dependent variables). From the results of the study conducted using sample data from 7 Islamic commercial banks from the period 2011-2022, it shows that the core capital factor and the number of office networks have a significant effect on the growth of Islamic commercial bank assets, while the capital expenditure factor, labor costs and education fund expenditures do not significantly affect the growth of Islamic commercial bank assets.
