Abstract

This research was conducted in Madiun- East Java province, Indonesia. It occupies the first position of active cases of Covid-19. This encourages local governments to immediately implement distance learning where learning is carried out using multimedia technology, virtual classes, video streaming, voice messages, e-mail, online text animations, and online video streaming. Focusing on the level of expectations and satisfaction of students in the Madiun district, this study wants to examine the extent to which students' expectations and satisfaction use online learning systems during the Covid-19 pandemic. It’s considered very important because this can be a benchmark for the success of learning process services carried out by educational institutions, especially teachers and schools in the future, especially when facing natural disasters or pandemic disasters. Based on the results of the survey conducted, this study found that the majority of junior high school students in Madiun Regency were very satisfied with the use of online learning media during the Covid-19 pandemic, where expectations of satisfaction with reliability, responsiveness, and expectations of confidence had a sufficient correlation with satisfaction with the online learning media usage. Meanwhile, empathy and expectations that came true have a weak correlation with the satisfaction of online learning media usage.
